As soon as you enter the Prancing Peacock, the first thing you feel is the warmth and the somewhat moisty atmosphere of a crowded room of patrons. The first thing you see is the huge ogre bouncer "Leopold" giving you a menacing look and sort of sizing you up, perhaps wondering how fast he could knock you unconscious or break you in two if he wanted to.
But the very first thing you hear when you enter "The Peacock", is a booming, joyful laughter.
As you gently move past the intimidating ogre, you see where the laughter originates from; A larger than life man, covered from head to toe in fine colourful clothing and expensive jewelry. The man can hardly breathe as he's laughing so excessively. The laughing is only interrupted when he stops to take a quick sip of his wine. When he has finally stopped laughing and taken a short breath, another patron at the table says something that immediately sends him into another laughing fit, much to the amusement for the rest of the table.
You remember hearing about this one when he had arrived in Dunkeldorf yesterday. A foreign trader of fine silks by the name of... "Guidobaldo de'Foscari". Your sources tell you that apparently he's a man with a few secrets that he may not want to become too public...
Dunkeldorf is a line of 28-32mm Heroic Scale Fantasy Miniatures by King Games (That's us!). In March 2019 we launched our first Kickstarter introducing the townsfolk of Dunkeldorf
In June 2020 "Dunkeldorf: The Prancing Peacock" came to Kickstarter as well, adding sitting miniatures and a bunch of tavern scenics to the line. More Dunkeldorf things to come in the future!
