Shazathared, otherwise known as the "Jewel of the Padishah," is a noble marid princess who was long ago kidnapped and imprisoned by the efreeti lord Jhavhul. She is bound to a fountain in the dungeon of Jhavhul's estate in the City of Brass, enchanted to remain until she tells Jhavhul 10,000 stories that he has never heard before. Unfortunately, he grew tired of her and left to pursue his obsession with the Queen of Fire after hearing only 7,988.
